Not getting notifications...
I have had an issue with receiving email notifications of posts in the forums, in particular the one's I am subscribed to. Seems like if I don't log into my account at least once a day I don't get notices. It's not that big of issue, but I thought that was kind of the purpose of "subscribing" to a particular forum. Thanks!

I stay logged in at all times. I personally don't see any need to log out. Try staying logged in by just leaving the site. The only time that I log out on a site is when I am in one of my financial account pages like banks, retailers, etc.
