I Keep Getting Logged Out!

Post by nickbell » Sun Jul 18, 2010 9:06 pm

Something is weird. Something keeps logging me out of the website. Like just recently, i clicked on the read all reports button, and i got logged off. I cant quite explain what is happening, but it is annoying. It does this every other time i go on the site. I read some reports, i click something, and im logged off. What is happening?

Look at the address bar, and/or the logo...notice that you're not on WL.com? OregonFishingNews.com is the same site, just defaulted to OR things... make sure you are on WL.com and you should be logged in. If you figure out what you're clicking on to take you to OFN.com, let me know.

Hi ya nickbell, not sure what the prob is, but it has been happening to me for some time now. I just figured it's my less than adequate computer. It happens to me when I switch around looking at different "Posts". It will reload with me not being logged in. Simple remedy is to hit the refresh button on your toolbar. This brings up the page you are on and you should be logged on. Give it a try and see if it helps. It's not a fix, but it is easier than logging in again. Good luck.

PS: the addie bar reads that I'm still on the WA website.

If you can give me any kind of reproducible info, I can look into it. Just remember to stop next time it happens and send us any info about it you can.

As for OR and ID reports, you don't really NEED to go to the other site, you can just change the State in the dropdown when viewing recent reports, or go to the County report area and pick counties from ID or OR without leaving WL.com. The other domains are really just designed to grab users from Google that are looking for ID or OR based sites.. and lead them eventually to WL.com. Looking for ID or OR reports on a WA based site wouldn't occur to a lot of users.
