Northwest Fishing Reports

I`m having a heck of a time on my edit profile with the colors. It`s not the colors but when I go to the forum I can`t see the topics that have new posts in them. Any help on which one is the best and easiest to see would be greatly appreciated. I`m afraid of change.

To keep track of new posts I just use the 'active Topics' feature.

What I posted in the mods forum, so you wouldn't have been able to see it anyway. ;

'Active Topics' section at the bottom of the page = To the far right of each topic title/line there are 2 little bitty boxes. Usually in red/pink if you just opened/refreshed the browser. Put your curser over each box. One will then say 'go to last post/reply. The other will say, 'go to last read post/reply'. Try that. Altho the one that says 'go to last read post' doesn't work all that good during the day, only when you first open the web site and the first time you click on it. After that it's best to click on the little box that says 'go to last post', at least it'll get you closer.

Now, give me a couple minutes to finish the above info as I'll have to do some copy and paste of the 2 images that come after '5 minutes ago', then you'll see what I mean. Check back in 5 minutes or so.

Thanks AMX I never knew about that option. Now what color or colors are best for showing new posts on the left side. Used to be high lighted I think. Now I haven`t been able to notice a high light or a star next to one. Bet it`s just me having this trouble or someone would have posted it. I`ll keep trying.

There was a dicussion about that. Members were trying different choises to see which they liked best. I'll go find that.

I'm in the process of creating a customized theme built specifically for our site that matches everything and will be easy to understand. It's going to take a bit for me to get it done though.

Found one now this isn`t bad at all kinda like the new colors. Thanks for the help AMX.

Which one did you choose? I can't see it from here.

So fresh so clean. I like how the stars on the topic side are high lighted when there`s a new post. I couldn`t tell on the other ones.
