Since the change over when I go to active topics, it is blank and refers to my current login as my last login.

I don't know if this has already been mentioned, but before the bots, when I went to view and active topic, I'd be directed to the last post. Now it directs me to the beginning. Annoying if there is more than one page. Is there away to change it back?

I go right to the last page, just as before. Maybe a setting someplace?
I fish not because I regard fishing as being terribly important, but because I suspect that so many of the other concerns of men are equally unimportant, and not nearly so much fun. ~ John Volker

For some reason my stars don't light up to show there are new posts in certain forums when I come on... I have been having to go to the bottom to the active topics section to see what is going on, I don't like it!

I looked for a setting, but couldn't locate one. If there is one, maybe someone can point me in the right direction?

Apparently the default "theme" that I selected for the site doesn't work the same in all browsers so I've changed it again. You should be able to see a distinct difference between read and unread posts and forum sections with new posts in them. If you don't like the new theme, go to your profile and select another one.

As for the active topics taking you to the last thread, the default behavior might have changed, but the ability to go to the last post is still right where it always has been. There are little icons by the date/username. If you hover over the icon it will say "Go to last post". Clicking this link will always take you to the last part of the thread you've read.

In the active threads section at the bottom of the page/list of forums, there are 2 little boxes to the right of every thread that is active. One box is for 'last reply', the other is for 'last unread reply'. Click on them to get to where you want to read. I explained it in the other thread on this subject. I even posted images of the boxes and such. Don't remember the name of that thread.

I don't see any boxes/icons in that location. I'm using the default blue screen.

I'm on this page at all times unless reading a thread or fishing report;

Found it. Thanks. I never had to use those before. Previously I'd just select the topic out of the Active section and it'd automatically direct me to the last post. Since I never had to use those icons you've just explained, I never even knew they were there.

That has never worked for me, didn't even know it did that. But I do know about that feature because the car web site I'm on all day every day has that feature and it is a GREAT feature.

I am having the same problem. If I back it up to one day it will show them, but that's the only way to do it. Is there a setting that I'm missing here?

I have no problem going to the last page, I just have to find the new topics.
