We've done bits and pieces here and there. There's honestly too much info for two guys that have fulltime jobs to be able to put out everything in a quality way. Our focus is and will remain a site that makes it easy for people to post and read fishing reports first, have that information in a format that allows going back in time to do research (as opposed to most forum-based report sites where the information isn't easily organized or searched), and finally, to present fisheries of interest to anglers via our video series and featured writers.

We do try to find things of interest to add to the site and it is every-growing. The "Search" feature in the black menu bar will yield a huge amount of information, over 15 years worth of archived fishing material!

I completly understand Mike's response to your question, although I think it is a good question for sure.

I wanted to add my two cents by saying that while washingtonlakes.com may not be able to furnish all of the info. that you asked for, it would be cool if Make and Aarron had time for a sticky thread in the boating forum,,, a thread that gave a breakdown of the various requirements for what is to be on one's boat, as far as legal requirements. At least a coastguard link. I can find it, but when people on this website, it could be a no-brainer quick click to see your needed items.

That being said, I know of course that this is a complicated thing when you look at all the different size boats, and their HP capacity, maybe even the water body that boat is on. And of course there would need to be a statement made, saying that the website is not taking legal responsibility for interpreting the law. But all that being said.... There is kind of a "Boatus Loadus of stuff" that is required on various sized boats. Even just a few links might help people stay one step ahead of "Over zealous law enforcement"
I always feel like I am trying to be safe, and within the law,, ya, I've got my orange flag,, but do I have a whistle or noise making device, NOT! Guess I should look up once again what I need.
