We've done bits and pieces here and there. There's honestly too much info for two guys that have fulltime jobs to be able to put out everything in a quality way. Our focus is and will remain a site that makes it easy for people to post and read fishing reports first, have that information in a format that allows going back in time to do research (as opposed to most forum-based report sites where the information isn't easily organized or searched), and finally, to present fisheries of interest to anglers via our video series and featured writers.gfakkema wrote:I was just curious if WaLakes.com has considered putting in an information section? A place where you can find different sorts of info such as knot tying guides, seasons for different fish (best times to target certain species and where), how to rig different setups and what they work best for (i.e. pictures and guides for: drifting rigs, float/jig rigs, trolling rigs, bait casting rigs, etc) and other general information such as coast guard boating requirements and such? I have been trolling the internet looking for some of this info, and I thought that it would be nice to have it in one place here on WaLakes.com. I'm sure that one could start a forum about other nice little tid bits of info that would be nice to have. Not sure if you have considered it or not, but just a thought. Other than that, this a great site, a veritable wealth of information. Keep up the great work guys! Thanks again, tight lines!
