Text Size and Color

When I try to increase my font size or my color, it always comes up on the screen as regular. I have tried starting with it, ending with it, starting and ending with it, it still doesn't work for me. The bold, italics and underline all work, just the size and color aren't changing.
This is me trying to do a font change.

I type what I am wanting to say and then highlite it, then click the color and size.

Uh-Oh, iPoddrodder has a new toy. 
I think the violet is your color. You should make all your posts in it.

Thanks. I think I will. And when I get weird looks at lakes I fish, I will blame it on you, so you'll get the weird looks instead. 
Is my font big and violet enough?

For some reason... I can't get my font size to work????
Can you guys give me some advice????
Nevermind... I'll just use the NORMAL font.
