Northwest Fishing Reports

Strange thing on my last Lake Roosevelt report, the oldest date comment, which was comment #1 is now listed as comment #6. The most recent comment is now listed as comment #1, but it should be #6. Also, I have not received any comment notifications at all. I thought that was fixed a while back? Any ideas?

Just posted a reply to that report and it is now comment #1 (should be #7). Weird. Have not received a single email notification for any comment on that report either.

We were doing some report comment tweaking, it may have caused some unintended consequences. Thanks for letting us know. Aaron will look into it.

Comment numbering is corrected, nice to be able to use paragraphs in comments now too, but still no comment notification emails. I don't see any settings to turn that feature on or off, is it automatic if you post a report?

I just made a comment on your most recent report. Did you not get a notification about it? Have you checked your SPAM folder for it? I always get a notification.

I get report notifications for waters I've selected. Received a report notification for Columbia River section 18, CCTMark's report posted yesterday.

I get comment reply notifications to subscribed forum topics. Received a comment reply notification to this thread because you replied (I'm subscribed to this topic).

No comment reply notifications to my report and nothing in my junk mail folder either. Don't know why I'm not getting report comment notifications and it has been this way, for me, for a very long time.

Separate, unrelated question - premium membership renewal payment sent 10/3/13, when will premium member expiration date be updated?

Thanks for pointing that out. Updated. BTW, you're in to March 2016. That may be a record.

That's because I updated it. I'll go fix it.

I guess that's what happens when you take advantage of the Fall special, but I think it should be 2015. My expiration date was stated as 3/1/2014 earlier this morning, bumping it another year would be 3/1/2015.

Btw, topic notification is working well. I'm sure Aaron will figure out why the report comment notification doesn't work for me.

Sometimes "division of labor" leads to "duplication of effort". Thanks for letting us know (not that I would expect anything less, you're a stand-up guy).

Three comments posted to same, two on 10/28 and one 10/29. No comment notification emails received.

Should I clear my WA Lakes.com cookies? I don't know what else to do especially since report notification emails arrive as do subscribed topic emails.

I give up.

I cleared all site cookies and still don't get report comment notifications. See no reason I'd get report and topic reply notifications but not report comment notifications.

There were 4 replies made today to my report submitted this morning and not a single notification.

I think I commented on that one,,, those were some nice fish! Lots of fog to get there! Great report!

Not sure what you want to hear.. I think I've commented on this before. As far as I can see there isn't anything broken on our end. I don't know of anyone else that doesn't get the notifications.

Something about why I don't get report comment notifications but do get topic reply and report submitted notifications. How can those two work but not the other?

Aaron you said to check my spam folder, since I'm using Outlook I have a junk mail folder instead and there is nothing there from WA Lakes, never has been. I checked my blocked sender list for any WA Lakes email addy's and there are none. I've done everything I can think of on my end to try and resolve the problem, so I've thrown in the towel. I'll just keep using the Comment Watcher option under the Community tab like I have for the past couple years.

I really wouldn't care all that much, but as commenters do, they ask questions, and sometimes I forget to go back and check reports I've submitted to respond to questions. That's the reason I brought this up and remain stumped as to why I, apparently, am the only one with the issue. I've got a work around, so don't worry about it. Maybe the next major upgrade will fix it.

You did Mark, and you are right nice fish indeed. Gilled kokanee is awesome.

I've been reading fewer reports but when I see yours, I read em! You've got Roosevelt dialed in! I love that lake but it's rare that I fish it.
