Uploading pic. to a member PM.

Post by The Quadfather » Sun Dec 08, 2013 10:40 am

My question is not how to upload a pic to the forum, and is also not about pics. That are located at URL's
But instead is it possible from say an I-phone , to get a pic off your phones camera roll, into a PM that you send a forum member? What is the deal with that toolbar thingy called "Img" ? When u click it, it wants you to drop something between [Img- Img]
Again, this is a pic on phone, not a pic on the web

Quick answer, no, you can't.

The IMG tags are for links to images elsewhere on the net.

You insert the URL address of a picture between the IMG tags, so that won't work. You'd have to upload the phone image to the web first.

For example:

IMG tag http://www.washingtonlakes.com/Images/wl_logo_wide.jpg IMG Tag

Thanks Aaron, I figured.
The other quick fix is to send my photo to Flicker or the like, and link the URL.
I was just short on time.
