When a post or forum has a red star it means it is a new post, or contains a new post. Does something happen when you click on the posts to read them?

Hey Aaron,
Just a heads up.
For about two hours earlier today the Red Stars (new posts) function was not working. I refreshed and rebooted several times and now it seems like the Red Stars are working again.

Thanks Big D. Please, if you notice more things like this just let me know instead of the rebooting. I'm working on a local copy of the site and never really know if what I'm doing affects the live site or not.

Hey Aaron,
The Red Stars are not working as of 9:07 this evening. At 9:11 I see this post showed up as a Red Star.

That doesn't mean there isn't a problem. I'll go take a look at some possibilities.

I'm uploading a bunch of fixes, and some changes to the Report List page for filtering reports. I also suspect I know where the problem with the forum is coming from and what I did to cause it. I've taken that code out for now and we'll see if the changes make a difference. If they do, great. Let me know! I reload the site so often while working on it that my Last Visit date changes constantly, and all the posts always look old to me.

I've been away for an hour and logged off before I went to the store. I'm back and I see many new posts. Perhaps it is fixed, or perhaps the problem exists for users that are logged in all the time. We'll know by the end of the day.

I've altered the code that was causing this problem and turned it back on. Let me know if it messes up the forum again.
