Lake Photo Request

Please explain the process for loading a picture in the lake photo request forum.
Do I enter the photo between the two image cues from the tool bar ([img]-[/img])? And do they need resized? Also, why is there a box to check for attaching files below? I go to college but must have missed this class!:study:
