Here's a step by step on how to submit a report:
From the front page, you'll see four medium sized grey boxes. The second from the right says "Submit New Report". Click on this.
Next, you'll see a screen that gives options for different types of reports. Pick the type you want to submit and click on it.
The report form already has the days date filled in. You can change that if you need to. Next select the general time of day. Your User Name is pre-filled in as long as you are logged in to the forum. If you aren't you really need to do that first because that is what automatically associates your User Name with reports. It makes it much easier to find your old reports as the years go by.
For location, remember rivers uses headwaters so it's not always obvious. You may have to search a bit. For example, Benton county is used to get the Yakima river.
Fill in the variuos fields for species, method, tackle, color, bait (if used)
The text field allows you to write up the actual report.
Finally, below the text field are two boxes that give you the option to upload a picture by navigating your computer files and browsng, then clicking "upload".
If you want to add "Hotspots" you can click on that link. It creates push pins in the google map for the area reported on. The hotspots will also each have a text box you can enter information in. This is optional.
Last, click "Submit Report". It goes to us and we then approve it and it is posted, within 24 hrs.
