4X4 Toyota

Post by mallard83 » Sat Sep 29, 2007 11:47 pm

I know that this is probably a long shot, but have any of you done a solid axle swap (SAS) on a 86'-95' Toyota 4x4? I have a 91' extra cab that I put a HO 5.0 from a 91' Ford Mustang in (it barks real good). My truck currently has a 4" Pro Comp IFS lift in the front, 5" Superlift springs in the rear, 3" body lift rolling on 35" Super Swamper SSR's.

I plan on hacking out all of the independant front suspension soon to make way for a solid front axle. I will be putting Dana 60 axles under it front and rear.

I was just wondering if any of you have done a similar swap and can point me in the right direction as to what to do first and whatever other suggestions you may have on the swap. I don't really want to use any off the shelf products if at all possible so if there is a cheaper comparable way I would like any suggestions. Thanks in advance.](*,)
