Northwest Fishing Reports

Ok here is my plan. For a few years now I've been wanting to go see if Wolf Lake still exists and if so, what condition it is in...ie if it was still fishable or not. The location is Northern Pend Oreille County and would be at least a 2 hour drive to get to the hiking point. There is technically a forest service road that goes up to the lake but it is closed to motor vehicles. My guess it would be about a 2-3 mile hike in. I have access to a pickup (99 Dodge Dakota w/ext cab) and it can comfortable seat one other person. There are two seats in the extended cab area but I've never ridden back there so not sure how comfortable they are. I dont own a float tube (yet) so basically this would just be a recon mission lol. After that we could hit a nearby lake or the Pend Oreille River.....

I planned on going this Saturday the 11th by myself, but if someone else wanted to tag along I would go on a different day if they werent available saturday. Im not very athletic so this would not be a hard hike...I dont hike just for the sake of hiking lol.

If not this saturday, here is my schedule, subject to change.

Im not available these days 10, 12-15, 17, 23, 25-26. All other days Im available.

Email me if you would like to go along. THis could also be a more than one vehicle event too, not just limited to those who can fit in my rig.

Ok so I guess Im going at it alone then......I'll be taking pictures so I'll share them when I can...I have the next four days off so I plan on going sometime this week when the weather permits
