Hunting Season

Post by cavdad45 » Mon Sep 17, 2007 1:46 pm

Anyone gone hunting, yet this year? Or planning to go hunting? Just got one of my Springers back from school today and am looking to chase some grouse and quail later in the week or on Saturday. Looking forward to Pheasant in a couple weeks.

I still bang away at grouse and hunt deer. The early rifle season is less than a month away, where I'll be chasing mule deer. If this should fail then I'll go after my all time favorite, the wily whitetail buck during the November season.

I will be going hunting for mule deer like every year on the east side next month (modern firearm). My brother and uncle will be doing the high hunt in the Alpine Lakes Wilderness this weekend, I wanted to go but my knees are to bad to do that hard of a hike. Where we usually hunt, I can ride my dirt bike into and hike a bite off of the trail and scope for a deer, but my hiking days for deer are over unfortunately.

However after deer it is on. My favorite thing to do more than anything. DUCK HUNTING!!!!! I love to duck hunt and will be doing it until it closes.

IF IT FLIES IT DIES!!!!!

For all the hunters out there...check out this video. It is old news...but hilarious none the less. If you object to coarse language...I wouldn't watch it. Enjoy!
