Maryland fishing.

Post by gpc » Tue Sep 18, 2007 5:57 pm

I know, I know this is a long shot. But my buddy is staying in Baltimore for a couple of days and wants to do some fishing. I signed up for a forum in maryland but really hasn't amounted to anything. He dosnt care what he fishes for and he hates to clean/cook/eat fish. so any type of fishing will work. Any help would be greatly appreciated

I think that I have heard about the great striper fishing in the surf there. This is maybe a starting point for you. Maybe a key word search? I don't really know, I have never been, good luck.

I have an uncle that commercial fishes for Maryland Blue crab in the Chesapeake Bay. been out with him a few times. pulling all those pots was pretty cool, afterward he stopped for fishing. we caught lots of fish he called "croakers", and thats what they did, also caught some flounder and sea trout. if i only had a couple of days i would find the nearest fishing guide and GO!! your friend surely isn't traveling with his gear right? If he goes to http://www.maryland.com/guides.php/fshng/fishing/ he can try to find one closest to him. good luck and god speed!
