A touching memorial

There have been a number of posts over the summer about the state of some of our lakes, from vandalism to garbage, to rude people. I ran across something that even though I was sorry to hear the circumstances which were the cause - found it to be a great sign that all hope for our lakes and parks is not lost. The dock at Waverly Beach Park on Lake Washington now has new fishing benches. They are beautifull - talking to one of the maintenance guys at the park the man who donated them used to fish there all the time with his son. His son had passed away and these were his memorial to his son. Each bench (there are 4, 2 flat and 2 high backed) has a rod holder drilled into them and the carvings are incredible.
If the person that donated these benches is a member of WL.com or runs across this post - I am sorry for your loss and I can think of no better memorial for the special time spent between a father and son.
Mike/Aron - While looking at these, I wondered if something could be put together in which, say once per year the members of this site vote for a lake - and the winning lake would recieve a new bench donated by WL.com? They wouldn't have to be as nice as these, but something with a little plaque saying "This bench donated by WashingtonLakes.com" or something? Just a thought...
