SNOW. How much did you get?

Post by Toni » Mon Feb 06, 2017 8:50 am

The most I remember getting in my life.

11 inches in Lower Graham, WA.

8 1/2" Power out at 3:30, I was awake and heard the pellet stove quit. Was out for 3 1/2 hours. Flickered once and the tv went off. Then dimmed a couple times. Couple big limbs down. The dog was out bouncing around for awhile, you know snow dogs. [laugh]

I am thankful I haven't lost power.

Just enough to not have to drive to the office. Looks 4 to 6 inches, much better working from home. The dogs are very happy.

9 1/4" on top of the dog house.

Yup, another reason to be glad I'm retired. [biggrin]

I got 8 1/2 to 9" of snow at Kitsap lake. I just spent the last 2HRS. plowing the drive way with the tractor. Tree branches & complete trees went down around my place. It looks like I will be cutting fire wood for a few days. Never did lose power.

11 inches of soggy wet snow, that has now become 6 inches of refreezing slush! Lots of tree damage here too. (East Auburn, towards Enumclaw)

Made some shortened tire chains for the kids quads, but the snow was just too sloppy... Kids have a snow day again tomorrow.

9 1/2" Friday into Saturday, then warm up Sunday, some rain, warm temps Monday, more melt off, back to cold today. Still have at least 15" on the ground. Just another winter day here. [wink]
