Free Kidde Pole

Just thought I'd post this up.....
A friend of mine found a brand new 30" kiddie pole (like the one used to land the North Carolina state record catfish) 30ft down at the bottom of a lake while scuba diving. He was going to throw it in the garbage, but I said wait a minute, some kid could use that!! Anyway, It's blue/aqua, 30" medium action (best I can tell) Wilcor rod with a closed face light duty reel, adjustable drag, 60 yrd capacity (8 lb mono). 3:1:1 gear ratio. Both guides fully intact.
Actually, not a bad little rod. I gave it a few casts in the yard, and with a 3/8 oz splitshot I can cast it probably 20 yards (already got it snagged in the tree
). I would consider keeping it for Ice fishing, but I got to may of those already (ice fishing poles that is, not kidde poles 
). So, it's like new, no rust, full spool (new line also), with a splitshot and hook on it already!! It's probably pretty inexpensive, but $10 is $10.....
Anybody nearby that wants it, it's yours. Hopefully it can get a kid started on an enjoyable life long hobby...
