Waitts Lake-too warm?

Post by BigDaddySweet » Tue Aug 07, 2012 2:06 pm

Night fishing at waitts lake with my light in the water. I can see the fish swimming around by the light but I can put bait right in front of their face and they wont bite. Iall of the things that work for the fish I cant see wont work for these. ive tried corn powerbait and worms. any ideas? it drives me crazy knowing they are there but not interested in anything I have. I know they are feeding on some sort of krill shrimp, is there some sort of bait that can make them think they are eating krill?

YUM makes a 'powerbait' type bait that has krill, and there are also several 'krill' based attractants from Pautzke's and Pro-Cure.

Go to the Winnona Beach Resort and ask Eddy what they're biting on. I'm sure he has what you need.
