Small creeks and rivers around Mason/kitsap county

I do a lot of fly fishing for cutties, around my house in the creeks around and catch fish from 4 inches, up to 16. Most average 6-8 inches. Have caught one that was 22 inches, I thought it was a steelhead at first but just a big cutty!

Anyways, the other day a gentlemen gave a brand new Fenwick rod and a brand new Orvis reel. A big upgrade. Ive been wanting to expand the creeks and small rivers I fly fish for trout, id like to find a river with maybe some decent sized trout that's in the Mason/kitsap county area. Or if theres a river that would be worth an over night camping trip that's a bit of a drive I could manage that I guess. If any one knows any creeks or small rivers please let me know! Kennedy Creek is pretty good for mid-range cutts. I've fished the upper Skokomish for trout, and it's pretty tiny up there. All of the Hood Canal rivers have a good sea-run populations, the Duckabush and Dosewallups etc. Cloquallum creek has trouts in it too. Basically, pick a stream and go, they've all got trouts in them. Check the regs first, there are a lot of creeks that have creeks that are closed.

The union river has big sea runs and also tons of sturgeon. Good luck
