What is the coolest looking/beautiful fish that YOU HAVE CAUGHT in WASHINGTON. Everyone appreciates the cool tropical fish caught in warmer waters, but what is the best looking fish you have caught in Washington waters?
I'd have to go with Cutthroat trout. Sea-run or the ones you find in lakes. The ones with full colors are just gorgeous.
Here's one I found off the internet that best describes the colors I find to be the most attractive out of any Washington-caught fish.

I'm gonna have to go with either a carp or squawfish. Probably the squawfish if I really have to decide.

I'll have to agree with the cutties they are amazing Mine would the first fish I caught out of clark lake,
It looked a lot nicer before I had to kill it...

Cutthroat trout hands down. Before they spawn their colors are amazing. My avatar is a cutthroat, and I am amazed at the beauty of both the lake and sea-run cutts.

I'd have to agree with Marc on this one. The Eastern Brook is a beautiful fish and hard to top.
Ohhh and KUP, I know your partial to the Musky, but if there is every a "Ugliest Fish in Washington" thread, that beast will get my vote for sure.

I'd vote for the Cabezon or the bullhead or even a Lingcod if that were the case. Actually I'd vote carp for sure for freshwater, and cabezon for saltwater. Which one is uglier is a toss-up

I just meant that I was kind of surprised that burbot or sculpin didn't get brought up speaking of ugly fish.

I always thought that lingcod where kind of cool looking, if you want an ugly fish I wold say the sucker or an old fungus covered pink salmon.
