Sturgeon Fishing Sunday

Post by northfork » Thu Apr 16, 2009 7:25 pm

Well Swede provided alot of good info and me and the Bro are headed out Sturgeon fishing Sunday.
The tides are just so so, but the weather should be nice and it looks like the winds will be out of the ENE, so it shouldn't be a problem.
Now all I got to do is find some decent bait. The Texaco is now a shell but will try there on the way home tomorrow.#-o
Blue roof house, found it on Google Earth along with Lat and Long for the boat anchored off it. Damn I like GPS
Thanks for the info Swede

NF = you got the path, information and much more you have a beauty of a day coming tomorrow now its showtime coming lets see a (finisher):-$ and not just in words bust out a few diamond backs for me!:chef:

That will put a smile large on Swede.

Find the 12ft plus stuff, put the most active large sand shrimp
you can pump or buy on.

If the crabs are working your shrimp wrap the shrimp in magic thread

Put your clicker on your reel biggest mistake many make on this fisheries and its pretty basic is (LET THEM EAT IT) then Slam them your reel not just your Rod tip will be your lead when they pick it up and start to take it!

Tight Lines fish on and don't get stuck out in the sand and mud when the tide turns and heads in!
You be the man!!!

i posted a report in the river section.
Long story short. The crab fishing was awesome
But no diamondbacks on sunday.
The wind came up and we headed back in.#-o
I think we will try the Snoho next time, shorter run and the butt pucker run shouldn't be as bad.
Still was a good outing with the Bro and got to try out the new anchor system on the boat.:-$
