Fish Creek Spinners 2009 results and 2010 plans

Post by fishcreekspinners » Mon Jan 04, 2010 6:20 pm

Fish Creek Spinners was pleased to sponsor the Trout Fishing forum last year and considered our presence on this site a major accomplishment. As an emerging spinner company we have lots to learn. WL.com provided an opportunity for me to stop by to see what was going on across the site, review the fishing reports and to share information about our spinners.

Our website got over 1500 visits from Washington State anglers last year, pretty impressive interest!
The fish photo winners posted on our site with the biggest trout in 2009 were 'all' WL.com anglers, another impressive stat!
The best news is that more anglers have Fish Creek Spinners in their hands, catching fish in Washington waters then ever before!

Going into 2010, I'm glad to sponsor WL.com contests and promote our spinners in the Trout Fishing forum. This year sharing videos as I fish the spinners in new waters around the country and continue to expand awareness as I customize models to the area! Kind of a Fish Creek Spinners River Stream Pond and Lake Walk. If it works out it will be quite the year!

Here's a few other URLs to check out if you have not been on our site lately. I added Armadillo and AngleIron slideshows in separate windows with some cajun music if you want to make the spinners dance for awhile before going back to the site to see what else is up.

Hey John, thanks for posting the cool slide show, and of course thank you for your support of WL.com. Looking forward to seeing what kind of interesting gear FishCreekSpinners will develope this year.

Hey, let me know when you have some video action so we can share it with the WL.com readers.

Added some heavier spinners for Steelhead and Salmon. Experimenting with the pipe cleaner wraps. They can be scented. I just noticed a few pictures have incorrect blades and dont match the picture. I'll correct the website.

Also going to try some Soft body and Tail mount spinners. Softbodies are pipe cleaners on a brass sleeve, they can be scented. Tail Spinners are crimped behind the front section to provide an unusual minnow like presentation. Prototypes at this time.

Great stuff John. I hadn't seen your spinners in person until last years Extravaganza and Derby and I must say, they are amazing. I am very impressed with with your packaging, contruction and creativity in every bait I saw. You can tell quality time and effert go into each one. I don't think I ever personally thanked you for sending us those baits to give out, soooo.... thank you. Best of luck to FCS in 2K10. If you need anything or a mouth to get your product out there just ask.

Just adding my two cents. These are great spinners, made of durable wire. They don't bend as easily as many of the popular ones you see in the store. I thought at first they looked like jewlery quality... then come to find out that John (Manafacturer) also makes jewlery. Most importanly they put fish in the boat.

These are great spinners that work. I will get some once spring comes around. Those trout are going down.

Here's an interesting interview of John Delaney, owner and designer of Fish Creek Spinners. A good read about running a tackle business and FCS.
