photo issues in reports lately

Post by Mike Carey » Tue Apr 17, 2012 4:28 pm

We've had several people with problems psoting pictures to their reports lately. Not sure what is going on, but Aaron is aware and looking into it. I just posted a report on Chelan and both my uploads showed a red "X", but when I approved them the photos were there.

So one thing, if your uploaded photo doesn't show an image, but shows an "X", go ahead and submit it anyway, because it may still have uploaded OK. Wait for it to show up on the site. As always, if the photo doesn't show, you can e-mail it to me with a note and I will add it to your report. Send it to mike@washingtonlakes.com and include your User Name, date and location fished.

The red x has been showing up for me since 'late' last summer. But the photos have always shown up with the report anyway.

I've been getting the same red x as well. However, I found that if I refresh the page before submitting, a thumbnail of the pic will show up.

Posted a report yesterday and uploaded two photos, one with a red X and the other you could preview. But I figured at least I got one pic in there. But the posted report showed both photos!

Aaron is uploading a new report form which will hopefully squash this bothersome bug.
