How to turn off function that alerts my email when there has been recent posting to a topic I recently posted to/about?

I'm getting a lot of inbox emails saying there's been a reply or whatever to a post I recently responded to. how do I turn off that function to ensure I don't get an email reminder each time someone updtaes the topic?

There is a function in your profile that is supposed to trn them all off, but look at the bottom left of each thread and see this;

Board index Subscribe topic Bookmark topic

unsubscribe that one in the middle.

I now see it as an option below the text box so can just uncheck it to turn it off.
