"Picture Corner" Database....

i guess this one is for you Aaron....

the picture corner must pull from report pictures, right? and i know you said it's random. But my question is this, do you only pick and choose SOME of the report pictures, or do ALL of them go in?? i just saw one of my recent report pictures pop up on the homepage. i have never seen any other of my report pics in the picture corner. what's the deal?? Is there still going to be a "picture corner" in the new upgrade?? if so, will the same database be used?? thanks RwR

No, the pitcure corner does NOT pick from the reports. When the reports come in, if the person approving the report thinks it's a really great photo, it is tagged for the picture corner. Honestly, I'd like to see a LOT of them removed as they are nothing more than average fishing pictures, and they should be above average. The Random script for the new site will work a little differently so you might notice a little more randomness to the randomness.

thanks for the quick response. i see......so it's kinda a PRIVILEGE to have a pic in the picture corner. I feel much better now , and i agree, if it's gonna be like that some should go...

yup, many of the early pictures should never have been ued for the Pic Corner. I'm being more selective now.
