Where to find hot spots?
This is not a "Bug" But I sometimes add hot spots to my reports. I just realized that I don't know where to look for hot spots on the lakes listed in the website??

RE:Where to find hot spots?
There are a few different ways to find Hot Spots. The Quadfather wrote:This is not a "Bug" But I sometimes add hot spots to my reports. I just realized that I don't know where to look for hot spots on the lakes listed in the website??
#1 - front page of the web site in the group of 4 grey boxes, far right is "New Fishing Hot Spots". This shows all the hotspots from the past 30 days. (it's actual the last 30 hot spots, not days, we need to fix that)
#2 - go to Members Tab, GPS Hot Spots - select the state, county, and lake. Try Chelan for fun as there are now dozens of hot spots! You can click on each fish head marker to see any comments, and it also has a link to take you to the specific report.
#3 - when you are looking at old reports, any time a report has a hot spot, it will say "Hot Spots!" in the upper right corner of the report, which you can click on.
#4 - for the total list of Hot Spots for a state, go to Member tab - GPS Export - in addition to being able to download the exact hotspot coordinates for your GPS unit, you can see at a glance every hot spot listed. It's like a primary index of hotspots. There are now 194 lakes listed with Hot Spots.
Hot Spots are only available for the Premium Members to see, although anyone can post a hotspot in their report.
