I fished that lake back in October for the first time in a kayak, I dropped it down deep with a 4/6oz weight, worked the whole lake, then saw them jumping at the surface around 10/11am so i started trolling at like 10ft deep, but reflecting on it I think i had it too close to the kayak, got nothing except a small perch. Since then i have been trolling lake Sammamish with lead line, I have it back around 200ft and 10/15ft down three colors, and I catch fairly regular, so i am wondering if that drill would do the tick up there also?

2/9/2016 2:56:00 PMpcorazao, that is correct. If I remember correctly, the strike was withing 80fow, but with the lure so far back, I dont know what it was there.
