12/5/2016 4:00:00 PMThanks, I landed it on my old Sage DS2 5 weight (favorite rod) with a #12 bugger. Had some lite tippet too. Both fish were jumpers, the larger fish broke the surface on the take. I didn't know if I was going to get either in with a barb-less hook and all the jumping. The larger fish jumped 3 times and the 7lb fish twice. It was fun and a bit nerve wracking because we only had standard trout nets, no salmon gear. Half of the fish was sticking out of the net. Overall a good day. We have done better though so only 4 stars.
