Fishing Reports Palmer Fishing Report northwestfishingreports.com/Reports/Details/9206 I ve been fishing Palmer Lake for bass this last week and the action was much slower than I experienced at Banks Lake. Using a crawdad crankbait along the rocky shorelines I caught more rainbow trout than smallmouth bass. I averaged only two or three smallmouth a day the best (for 5 days of fishing) 16 1/2 inches but the rest all under 12 inches. The big one was taken on a nightcrawler rig and the... We were fishing near the lilypads at the northwest end. We saw about a dozen otters on the trip which was neat. On the way to the lake we also see bighorn sheep a lot. Fishing Reports Lone Fishing Report northwestfishingreports.com/Reports/Details/325 Hit Lone Lake around 9:30 AM or so. Started out trolling my Italian Woolly Bugger (olive chenille black marabou tail black shlappen hackle and gold or silver tinsel between the palmered hackle) on a 10 ft leader behind floating fly line. After a half hour I decided to switch to a chironomid pupa pattern after moving into deeper water and giving mind to the swooping swallows. Still nothing. Eventua... Anonymous - 4/26/2003

Fishing Reports Merrill Fishing Report northwestfishingreports.com/Reports/Details/3505 Before the Hex start inching towards the surface fish a size 12-14 Alder fly. Pick a warm sunny day around noon and as your getting your gear together in the parking lot notice the large caddis like Alders cavorting around. Before the trout key in on huge mayflies they readily come to this Northwest favorite. Take a right from the launch and cast anywhere from in the weeds to 25 feet out. The Alde... Anonymous - 5/1/2000
