Re: Side planer boards?
Mike - what brand and size do you like for kokanee and walleye? I know they come in different sizes and left/right. Toni - that was one of my concerns. In a crowded fishery they could be trouble. How are they for turning maneuvering? Im assuming you cant turn very sharp at all? Maybe a little wider...

Re: Summit Lake Blue-green algae
In Pierce county they just warn you. Fish will be fine if washed in clean water.
At Summit though people also drink the water out of the lake. I don't know if that is why they closed it or if they do that to all lakes in Thurston county with Blue-green Algae.

Re: Side planer boards?
And when Mike was on my boat he used one or two on Alder with higher success than the downriggers. I got one. But I have barely used it because I stand at the back of the boat looking forward. Planers are out to the side and behind. If there are a lot of boats they will run over it or you have to k...

Re: Active topics vs. New posts
Thats one reason I always use "Unread Posts" instead of New Posts. It seems to me New and Active are very close to the same most of the time and I only care about the ones I havent read yet. But I read posts that I don't comment on so I am not notified. I have to look at the date. There are a lot o...

Active topics vs. New posts
Active topics and new posts are the same when I go to them.
It use to be new posts would only show what was posted since my last visit, on the threads I was reading. Active would be all topics that were active even if I hadn't looked at them.
Is it going to go back to the way it was?

Re: New website
For me it seems like the ads stand out more than our content. This might be that it is the contrast you were talking about. One report it took me a minute to find it because it was short and lost by the large advertisement.

Font color
I was wondering if there is a way I can change my view of the website to have more than 20 shades of gray? Can I change the font to black instead of gray for the website not just my writing?

youtube on new reports
I was unable to embed a youtube link.
It said there was an error. I just went back and using the breadcrumb links to go to start I have lost the report. But using my back button in the browser I was able to get it back

*Most* of that is available under the Research menu item. Rather than using it like an interactive tool, it's auto generated for every area on the site (i.e. no more Best X in Zip). Main Menu > Research > Area Information The Heat maps are also available from that tools as well. I saw the heat maps...
