Re: Tribes and State look at Coho closure.

I don't know how many of you get extremely pissed off when reading about these closures. It just makes the hair on my neck stand up and damn that's a lot of hair. I challenge each and everyone of you to download and read the Boldt Act. Reading that will piss you off even more. It gives the Tribes th...

Re: Bad news comes early--- coho declines again

dj....not only do the sport fishermen have to account for their catch but we can't even take a native salmon out of the water. Kill-Nets don't discriminate between natives and clipped fins. The nets kill everything that goes up the rivers. As a sportsmen we have to do everything in our powers to sav...

Nw boater 45 jfyi those kings you saw being sold on the tulalip rez came from their OWN hatchery Bassplayer17.....actually you bring up a very good point and thanks for pointing that out to everyone. The argument for the Boldt Act was for Rights to fish for salmon to retain to feed their Nations. NOT for resale and profit!!!

Re: Bad news comes early--- coho declines again

I am an average Joe fisherman that has been fishing Washington waters all my life...lets just say that is 30+ years. I have seen banner years and have seen years they have closed fishing. No one more than I would love to see nets out of the rivers. But the thing is, as in banner years or poor years ...

WTB - Mercruiser 470 Alternator Kit

I am looking to buy a new or used Mercruiser 470 Alternator conversion kit. I don't really need the alternator just the kit.
Thanks.

Boat Salvage Yards

Does anyone know of any boat salvage yards in Washington? Or a place that has a good selection of used parts? I am trying to find a part for a Mercruiser 470.

Thanks.

Re: Spinning Rod - Fishing Line - Steelhead

Thanks everyone for your input. Looks like there are several good options. I do use Hydrofloat on my float setup and like it a lot. I think I will try Spoonman's response and get a spool of Izoreline for my drift/spoon setup. And thanks Nate about the spooling tips. Just sitting here watching the ra...

Spinning Rod - Fishing Line - Steelhead

I am somewhat of a newbie to steelheading and need help on selecting the right fishing line. I just bought a Penn Battle 4000 reel a couple of weeks ago. The first line I put on it was PLine Flourocarbon with 14# test. I filled the reel with to about 3/4 capacity (about 125 yards). After the first c...
