Coons were purple/dark pink. I think by ridiculous he means way to easy and kinda cheating. Fishing the hatchery intake. Unless your actually handicapped of course. Lol

Went to the cascade with ff yesterday. we both caught one. the one I caught being a 10 or 11lb buck and his that he released being a hen that would have pushed 12. sorry for the weird lighting on the picture.

Really nice fish but maybe you guys should take a day off the water and take a class in photography and get that picture taking thing down.

thought I'd better put these in the steelhead thread too. Hen and buck, average size. Great day.

Hatchery Hole was producing a lot of fish, I just went straight down to the mouth to avoid all of the snaggers. Luckily, a pod of steelhead was just starting to come in. They were huge. I'm guessing they were 3 salts? I hooked and landed a huge hen that easily pushed 15 pounds. Snapped my line when I was trying to land her, managed to tail her. And I knew the hatchery needed hens so I CR both of my hens and kept two males

thats awesome that your doing that! Im letting the hens go too, they just cant get in the hacthery and theyre getting picked off slowly. Thats cool that the mouth has been productive. i dont fish it much, maybe ill start!

BOBBER DOWN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Man kockmando and I fished all morning at cascade, went 1 for 4 in the first hole we fished at frist light with eggs. Moved upriver, fished a run with a lot of steelies rolling and swimming around, but they just wouldnt bite!! Something i never do is fish a jig... WELL my buddy puts a jig on, within 5 minutes BOOM HUGE 15lb hen steelhead. then, 5 minutes later BOOBER DOWN AGAIN 5 lb buck released him. 10 minutes later BOOM I get a takedown on a jig miss it. 5 minutes later my buddy misses one. 5 more minutes BOOM 12 lb hen my buddy keeps. I proceed to catch 6 coho and miss one more steelhead i can see flashing in a half hour, and we call it quits. Fished eggs for 2 hours in the same spot, and the second we switched to shrimp tipped jigs. BOBBER DOWNS ALL DAY LONG. gotta admit i never had faith in em, you know they got a spot in my tackle box now!!!
Might as well just call us Jens #2 and 3 now!! lol
My buddy has the pictures they will be up and posted soon, check back to see the huge steelies.
