Can the Washougal River be productive for anything during the spring and summer months? I've only swam in it, but seems like some good habitat for fish......idk just wondering any info would be appreciated.

the washougal is supurb for winter steelhead. i am sure they have a good run of summer steelhead. i think you can catch sturgeon at the mouth. most of the good holes on this river have no public bank access you have to have a friend like i do that has a hundred yards of supreme steelhead holes up high by the motocross track.

they they just stack up right in front of my friends house. you can catch your limit in maybe 20 minutes on a good day. catch and release is the way to go on the washougal though because on a good day you can catch 20 fish, and you would not want to take your two and then leave.
