Rufus Woods bank fishing question

Post by Tyler4 » Thu Sep 03, 2020 7:52 pm

Hey guys, long time lurker here. I was wondering if someone could help me out. We going to camp at banks lake and we usually go fish rufus woods. I normally take the kids down to the fish pins, but with COVID this year, we can't fish on the Colville reservation side. Does anyone know of any spots on the Douglas county side that we can fish from the bank? I tried to look at satellite photos but it looks like we would be trespassing to access the river.
Thanks for your time.

If you have OnX map app you can see some WDFW land on the S shore near the pens but you might have to hike to the river. People fish just upstream of Chief Joe dam on S. side of river. There are fire pits etc.
