Nice! That needs to be made into an APP :)

That's a good idea. I have no idea how to go about that but I sure would like to have the app with me on the lake.

It occurs to me that you could just copy the picture to your phone. I think I will try that and see if the image is good enough quality to see the numbers....

Good for approximation, but the crappie one is off by a ways for most of the fish I've weighed. A 17" crappie out of Eastern Wa averages about 2.4-2.7 lbs. This is from recording close to 100 fish that size. I've had 20" fish that didn't hit 4 lbs. The rest seem much closer to what I have seen, of course allowing for egg carriers or post spawn rails. Overall a good tool. Thanks!

I'm old. That should explain it. But Jiggy and I have both had Crappie that size recently. They are out there, but you have to target them. It's kind of like big bass not being where little bass hang out most of the time. We've put pix on Facebook, but have had too many negative reactions when we don't share exactly where we catch 'em on this site. Don't get me wrong, I love this site, but it does require some discretion. Nice halibut, by the way. Some people don't believe they get that big...

The bass measurement is pretty good. My 22" bass was 6.5 lbs

Old??? LOL You're so young you are just a kid compared to me. [laugh]

And you don't have to say exactly where you catch a fish, especially a BIG fish as some readers will go target that fish/spot instead of actually learning how to fish themselves. I NEVER have stated in my reports where I catch any fish, big OR little fish. I've learned those spots and others will have to learn them on their own.

If there was a like button I'd hit it AMX. You're right about age being relative. I've got coats older than most folks on here, but I know I'm nowhere near an elder.
