Stay dry my friends.
Amen G-Man!
I fish in any weather as long as I don't have to trailer on icy roads. Full canvas with heat makes it nice, without them, I'd stay home. Call me a wuss, I don't care, I'd rather be warm and dry any day.

At 67, retired, I pick my days more than I used to. You dont bounce back from real cold, wet nasty days quite like you used to. Let the young uns' deal with the crud! I used to. Everyday is Saturday.

All of you old guys talking about this scares me haha im still young and love fishing in extremes!
Nothing like fighting a massive dog in the middle of a snow storm, freezing, and wet. Barely able to see 5 feet infront of your face. Now that was a day ill remember for a long time :compress:

Kinda like back in the '80s when I use to go dog sledding in the snow storms.

Wish I had a picture.

More power to you Fear No Fish. You go and enjoy every moment of your youth. At y'alls age I did too. I fished in weather so cold not only did the guides on the pole freeze but my waders were ice covered. That was the day when theyre werent insulated waders. I still enjoy my life I still fish when I can. Dont worry about getting old yet. You got hella time to worry. To all of you. Enjoy and God Bless you all.
When youre up to your rear end in alligators, its hard to remember that the initial plan was to drain the swamp.

Bragging may not bring happiness, but no man having caught a large fish goes home through an alley.

I go fishing every weekend atleast once,
and go fishing during the week at least once.
~Men and fish are alike. They both get into trouble when they open their mouths.
~My biggest worry is that my wife (when I'm dead) will sell my fishing gear for what I said I paid for it.

Right there with ya. Wind.. and lightning will get me out of the water at least until it blows over.
I fish not because I regard fishing as being terribly important, but because I suspect that so many of the other concerns of men are equally unimportant, and not nearly so much fun. ~ John Volker

I was in a lightning storm on Banks Lake in my Aluminum boat. You could see it touchdown on the water. It scared the holy bejjezus out of me. I was white knuckled holding on for dear life waiting to get slammed by lightning. Pretty scarey stuff.

Yup, my brother and I were out on Silver Lake/Mt St Helens fishing. A lightening storm was coming in so we headed for shore when it got a couple/few miles away. Didn't happen to cross the lake, but we weren't taking any chances.
