Actually there is a even numbered year pink run on the Snohomish/Skykomish Rivers. I have hooked many while silver fishing even years, it is just not legal to keep them. We may even see a big enough return this year to have an open season on humpies. The Skykomish has had even year humpies for years now.
How big are we talking about in terms of run size Mallard? I knew they did have a run, and wouldn't mind throwing some pink jigs on the Snohomish if the fish were in big enough numbers...
Lets just say that for the last few even years there have been enough while fishing early silvers that they were an annoyance.

every year I make a list of lakes I want to visit at least once...this year though it might be a little difficult unless I get the boat fixed, so I guess the first goal on my list is to fix my boat lol. For the last couple years I've been wanting to hike in and try to find if Wolf Lake exists still and if its inhabited with any fish.

You may have a tough time catching that pink unless go north. Pinks around here only run on the odd year. You will need to go as far as the northern tip of Vancouver Island to find pinks on the even year....... Sorry!

I knew there were a few pinks that would run on the even year but to have a fishery - wow that would be great!

Fish at least 5 lakes I have never been to.
Fish with (learn from) as many of you all as I can.
Catch my 1st smallmouth.
Catch a large mouth that actually bigger than my hand in american waters.
Catch my 1st tiger trout
Buy a smoker.
Hmm - I am sure there is more...
I fish not because I regard fishing as being terribly important, but because I suspect that so many of the other concerns of men are equally unimportant, and not nearly so much fun. ~ John Volker

Gringo,
I'll shoot you a PM later on this spring when I get back to WA. I'll bring you out to some of my smallie spots that aren't far away from either of us. You're not going to find any BIG smallies, but a lot of smaller ones can be caught which is always good fun for someone looking to get into quantity...Some top 3lbs...

Sounds good, I'll be basically starting from scratch as far as bass are concerned, so any opportunity to go out and get some confidence will not be turned down!

Personal best summer steelie 12 LBs. on a(6wt) flyrod, looking to beat that this summer.
Try fly fishing on my boat for Lake Wash Smallies besides regular bass gear and lures.
