Lake Washington Boat Launches
I recently purchase a 17' Tracker Deep Pro-Guide boat. I desperately want to fish Lake Washington. However, I don't know of any boat launches that are near the north end of Lake Washington. I need a launch with a dock, as I do not want to beach my boat while I park my trailer. I know about the Kirkland launch but someone told me it was members only. Please, anyone, let me know where I can launch my boat. I live in Monroe and the closer I can be to the north end of the lake the better, but, any information will be of great appreciation. My e-mail is oahe80@hotmail.com Thanks much, Jerry

I haven't lived in Seattle for a half-dozen years but I recall using a boat launch at the top of the lake, in/near Kenmore? I just looked on Mapquest and my best guess at a location is just off NE Bothell Way @ 68th.
As I recall, it was a pretty primitive launch with limited parking, but a nice spot right on that river/creek/slough. I can't remember if it had a dock or not, but tying off your boat to go park wouldn't be that big of deal because the lot was so small you'd be right back.
I'm sure there are other places to launch though, either in Kenmore or Bothell. Magnuson Park is probably a little further south than you want to go, as is Juanita or Kirkland.
Good luck! I do miss boating on Lake WAshington! I lived in the Green Lake n'hood and we used to go launch in Ballard so we could boat past Gasworks Park & through "the cut" at UW.

There's a marina on the South side of the seaport (KenmoreAir). It has a dock. I don't know what kind of arrangements they have for launching your boat. The people that store their boats there must park their cars in the lot and have a forklift launch their boat. There is a launch and a dock.
