Long Beach Surf Perch Derby ????

Anyone ever fished the long beach surf perch derby ??? I am entering for the first time this year and wondered what to expect. Thanks
Never done it, but I want to enter as well. Just don't know if I can get child care worked out for that Saturday. If I can work it out, I'll let you know and maybe we can join up? There are individual prizes, but you're going to be grouped in a 3 man team. So if you're not already part of a group, they will lump you in with other random people who don't belong to groups.
I'll keep ya posted. Let me know if you already have teammates.
