WEnt to Soda Lake, and there was about 6" of ice. Quite a few fisherfolks but only 2 fish caught from dawn to almost dusk. Good people, but no fish biting. Even Mardon said there wasn't any good fishing around.

TeachingTitusToFish here's the guy you should class as a legend and listen to. If FC can't catch fish then conditions are tough.

He's a legend, in his mind...? I appreciate the vote of confidence, but will magnify it significantly, I was with the Jigmeister!

New to forum. Hit Fish Lake 1/22, plenty of ice and 10 nice fish in 2hrs.

Anyone have a status on Roses Lake? Looking to hit that this weekend.

Last weekend a guy told me there was 7" of ice on Roses, but he didn't stay long and only caught a couple. He was a bit vague on how long he stayed. That's all I've heard about it, but it should be colder than the seep lakes, and they still have good ice.

Talked to a local today and was told 1 foot of ice @ Roses. Watch the weather, things are getting warmer next week.

i figured the guy I talked to was underestimating. Soda had 6 inches and that area is quite a bit colder. Thanks for the
info.

Fishinchristian, any idea if the ice is off Myron? Might try to go there for some ice free fishing if so.

Saw a couple of fisherfolk out a couple of days ago. Didn't see anything on the ice with them. With the warm wind I would advise caution, but the nights are still cold. I'd fish in the AM if I did try it. And I'm sure you know special regs... yada yada...

3 days ago it was 7". We've had some warmer weather though. Call Coulee Playland for daily conditions, they are usally helpful. 509 633 2671

Has anyone been out to Fish Lake in Leavenworth recently? Thinking about going tomorrow but would like to know if the ice is good.

I've been trying to call playland but their phones aren't working. The weather has been the same warm temps and rain here and my ice is still 16" on my pond. But there is about a foot of water over the shoreline... Looking like a trip for some white fish is in order

Is Elioka looking like a pretty good bet for midweek next week in terms of ice thickness? Any other lakes in central or eastern Washington worth a try? From the wet side but want to go out with the family as kids have school off. Never done ice fishing before but bought manual auger and going to drive east for a first go. Thanks.

I was on Eloika Tuesday. 14" of good ice at the time. We've had some warming, but I'm guessing the ice is still decent.

@GoingtoFish call The Cove @ Fish Lake to get an ice report. Cold at night and warm days. If the ice is good, great place for perch and kids.

Yakima area ice getting rotten. I have had 4" of ice on my driveway for over a month now, and still do, but it is getting melt honeycombed. Ice on the water may not be as quick to melt, but it has been warmer, and ice that is less clear is beginning to depart. Be careful.we don't have these...https://youtu.be/xtJAHZTHzp0" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; and this isn't fun http://media.spokesman.com/photos/2015/ ... c2ebfb384b" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Just got off Eloika. Ice is solid and over a foot fat. There were not of contestant's this morning. There is Water/Slush starting to show around the edge but a lot of that could be caused by the amount of run off from the beach.
