17' ARIMA SeaChaser - TurnKey and Complete with Extras!

Post by Salmon King » Tue Feb 28, 2017 10:31 am

I have tried hard to keep my boat (which is why I let the previous thread die) because I really love it but alas it is not to be.
I will not go into the specifics of my situation so please do not inquire about it...but feel free to ask all the questions you want about my boat.

Here's what you will get for your $18,500.00:

Hull:

1983 Sea Chaser (late in '83 and according to Don (an original ARIMA Owner) there is no wood in the stringers).
Deck is solid.
Recent rewire using Marine wiring and terminals.
27 Gal. Fuel Tank addition (originally did not come with a fuel tank).
Sleeper seat recently reupholstered
Captains seat replaced.
Factory Option Cuddy Cushions.
Smart Tabs.
Anchor Pulpit addition.
Smart Rails (spray rails that reduce windshield spray by 90%).
Port Side Wiper
Garelick Adjustable Kicker mount.
Trim Panels replaced using Cabinet Grade Plywood Sealed all around and Painted to match bottom paint.
Deck treated with roll-on Truck Bedliner (also did the Walkaround areas).
Custom Made 1-off Fiberglass SKIFF TOP with overhead electronics bay.
Custom Made 1-off Aluminum radar arch (made by Steve - aka Ugly Bayliner).

Motors:

2012 Etec 90 with SS Prop - 252 Hours. Burns roughly 4.7 Gal/Hr. @ 4000 rpm making 24-26mph. Top speed about 31 or so.
1994 (?) Mercury 9.9 Kicker (looks and runs as new).
Troll-Master Pro II throttle control.
Ez-Steer.

Electronics:

1 - Lowrance HDS-5 built into the dash and connected via NMEA200 to Main Motor providing pertinent engine and electricity al system information.
2 - Lowrance HDS-7 units. 1 used as Chartplotter and other as FF. These are interconnected with Ethernet Cable.
Lowrance Link-8 VHF providing DSC and AIS information. Not yet connected to Chartplotter but it should be.
Furuno Radar 16 Mi. Radar. Older unit that works great.
Pro-Troll Black Box.
New VHF Antenna and Ratcheting Mount.
New Horn mounted on Arch.
New Marine Stereo and Speakers.
Portapotty.

Trailer:

2015 Road Runner Galvanized Single axle trailer (Surge Brakes) with 16 Rollers.
I replaced the stock winch with an electric winch.
This trailer has seen the water only 4 times since I bought it!

Other included items:

2 - Scotty Eectric Downriggers.
2 Shrimp Pots with lines and floats.
2 Crab Pots.
Pot Puller
2 Downrigger Rod and Reel outfits (not fancy or expensive but hey they work).
Possible a couple of custom made stand up rods if that's what it takes to close the deal.

All Coast Guard required Safety Equipment (I'll even throw in some expired flares as extras).

I cannot get the pictures to upload here so this is the link to my CL ad....
