Info swap

Post by FisherF16 » Mon Jun 11, 2007 11:05 pm

East sider here....looking to gain some insight on being successful on sammamish and washington (colors, presentation, depth etc) in exchange for some tips for fishing the columbia and snake river pools. I have fished tons on the river and have it pretty much dialed in, but no experience on the westside. Smallies or largemouth or both...any info is greatly appreciated. Ive heard that sammamish in particular just gets hammered by boat traffic on the weekends.....

I'm certainly not the most qualified one for helping you out with tips on either of the lakes, but yes, both of those lakes are really packed with boats on weekends...Look for weekdays or some colder and not sunny weather conditions on weekends if you want to be away or atleast minimize the boat traffic....

Im not used to heavy traffic....we have a lot of water here so often times you can go a couple hours without seeing a boat....was planning a trip in july sometime to come over and check things out on sammamish...ive heard the locals are real protective of their lake and hate out of towners.

You will see a boat every way you look in Juy on either of those lakes...

Don't worry about the locals are those lakes...They gotta know by know that those lakes are really popular for bassing and if they get pissy about you fishing near their dock, what can they do? It's not a private lake after all...Anyways, you could definetely spend all day at either lake and still have water to fish...good luck if you come up..
