Help, looking for a place in the Yakima Area to take a couple of YOUNG kids ...

I have a friend in Yakima that has two young daughters that want to go fishing this summer. I told him that patience is not found in youngsters, so unless they want to eat fish, which is not their goal right now, he wants some Bluegill.
Any advice on a pond or lake near Yakima that is just over populated with the little buggers? Size is not an issue, numbers and access is. Bluegill are perfect because the bobbers/floats will keep the kids interested while fishing.
Help, what I am after is something that most of us would never bother to fish or post about.

You might wan't to lookup Tampico Park Pond, located in Yakima. I beleive it's juvenile only and I think the state record Bluegill came from there? Might be a good spot to take the youngsters.

Sarge Hubbard park has a great little youth only pond for trout, no patience required. Use nightcrawler under a bobber and they will have fun.

You can also send a PM to a guy who goes on here by "Beerman1981" He lives there and is very helpful. He has not been on the site in awhile, but I'm sure is email/PM is good.

Rotary Lake has excellent shore spots with lots of Bluegill,Pumpkinseed,Crappie, perch. with Trout and Bass cruiz'n through.
Pond #4 is also excellent for the panfish and has great shore spots.
Pond #6 would be the same.
Check out the I-82 pond reports as well as Rotary Lake.
