I Phone picture issues?

So I have been wanting/trying to post pics from my iphone and I can see the pictures and as I click upload, it tries and tries and eventually will give me a photo invalid message. Am I doing something wrong? I have downloaded them to my laptop and it will give me the same message when I do it from there. What can I do?

How big are the images? What type of image is it, jpeg, jpg, or something else?

Good question! I don't know what kind of file it is from an I phone. I can try to crop it. It uploaded one picture that I posted but it wouldn't do the others.
