My son and I headed out this morning before sunset to flaming geyser. I noticed it was a bit slick so I slowed down and kept it cool. I had no problems. Fished for a bit then went to a diff spot fished there for a bit. No luck at all so we headed towards the bridges at 18. There was a lil red car behind me, I was still going slower cause of the ice. Then a white van came around the corner in front of me too fast. They started fish tailing all over. I told my son this is gonna hurt someone. I slowed down a lil bit and as soon as I seen him fish tail the other way I stepped on it and got passed him. I slowed again to look in the rear view. The van rear tires went off the road and he spun around 180 He hit the car behind me his rear there front. totalled both vehicles and the old couple that was in the car was both hurting badly. The old man hit the steering wheel. And the old lady got her legs buckled up a bit not sure of the exact injuries I left after setting up flares and calling 911 and talking to the cops when they arrived. There was a couple of kids that pulled up and told me they was just helping someone out of a ditch up the road and that same van lost control there and almost hit them. Point is there is black ice all over the place especially where there is water close. Just slow it down and take it easy.
