Looking 4 Private boat launch
I am looking for a private boat launch for my 21' Bayliner. I am a responsible boat owner and respect peoples property. My family and I do not drink while on our boat. I am willing to pay a reasonable launch fee. I am looking for private boat launches on Lake Washington and Puget Sound between DesMoines and Browns point. If you are willing to let me use your boat launch please email me. We can meet for an interview before you agree to letting me use it. My name is Bill 206-664-1913.

You might consider adjusting the title of your thread, to, " looking to rent someone's private boat." I think more people will read it.
To me it currently looks like you are just looking for a private launch space to put your boat in at.![ThumpUp [thumbup]](./images/smilies/msp_thumbup.gif)
Edit: Oops, my bad. It is your boat.
Curious why the need for a private launch?

I find it very time consuming and frustrating using public launches. People are always so tense and crabby. It also can take hours to get my boat in the water. The Quadfather wrote:You might consider adjusting the title of your thread, to, " looking to rent someone's private boat." Good luck with that.
I didn't mean to come off strange by asking you what you were doing. I will agree with you that there are a lot of idiots at boat launches, and sometimes idiots === jerks.
If you are just fishing you will be OK if you just launch early, like daybreak. But if you are pulling toys, the bungholes will be out there.
On lake Washington, try the Atlantic city launch. Stay away from coulon park. Also , kenmore launch is free.
Puget sound, I like Shilshole . Just go before 0800

It sounds like renting a slip could also be the ticket. Lake Wa has several marina's. One of which is in Kenmore. Mostly covered slips.
In the saltwater there is the Edmonds marina, and others. My neighbor rents a slip at Edmonds, a month at a time, just for the Salmon season. You mention South sound as a preference. Should me a marina down that way with secure moorage.
Being moored, the boat is always launched! As ready as ready can get. No wait time leaving the marina/harbor. On the downside, your committed to salt or freshwater. Except, if your patient the locks connects Lk Wa to the Puget Sound.
Curious if your saying it takes you several hours to launch. Or, it can take that long using public launch's?
Can be frustrating. Especially when there are very long launch lines to deal with. I was next in line to launch and witnessed a dude with a older 19ft glass ply in pristine shape. He refused to dip his boat trailer into the salt water. So, he launched the boat with the trailer dry, out of the water! Wheels at the waters edge. Looked like the boat was contacting the ramp's paved surface. As it was at a 45 degree angle, coming off the trailer. Retrieved the boat the same way. Think that didn't take some time?

Re: Looking 4 Private boat launch
I take time to launch my boat but as a tax paying citizen how much time I take is my business. I dont care when it comes to boating safety. I dont move like I used to. I launch at my speed. Shilshole is a good launch. If you want private go to the 1st ave south launch. Its not the nicest but it works well. Shilshole and Mukilteo have ample parking which is nice. Armeni in west Seattle is good if you get there by 4 am. otherwise you get VW bugs parked in trailer spots. Thats frustrating.
