too tight or too loose will cause them to leak. lube the seal first then hand tight when you put them on.

My brother did what you are tring to do with his two years ago and is real happy with his result. I'm not sure of the details but I can get them from him he uses his all the time and his cost was low from what I remember.

If you put on a corkey between the swivle and the hook and use a worm, You can fish in the middle of or above the weeds. I use this about half of the time to fish the bottom.

Just got back from jump off joe... Mid july a local hooked a 14 pound foot ball brown. We fished right on the bottom and with a corkey about a foot and a half off the bottom, got a couple 16 inchers and some smaller ones. That was after bassen didnt pan out..

I fish for trout and bass. This forum is for trout. and some very nice ones at that...

I have a bunch of these and found the Utube vid its a good fix and these things catch lots of fish. I dont mind loosing a buck instead of five or six....

Looks real good. what about some thing like out riggers to add after its at the lake or in the water? My brother did that with his canoe so his wife would fish with him.

Hog canyon, and fourth of july are winter only. Fourth Has big fish hog has small fish.

Its been over 25 Years the last time I was there, I think that lake has a real high iron content.
