First fish of the season for me. Didn't weigh her but I'm guessing she is a little over 4 lb . Picture doesn't do her justice because I held it a little side ways

Nice start for spring. Getting a lot of reports at Limit Out Marine that guys are wacking the big largemouth in local lakes right now. Heard of an 8+ that was caught in the last two days in the south end.

Got out on my first trip of the year, both fish courtesy of Austin (FM) and Tory and their new custom baits. Felt good to finally get out and catch a fish again.

We didn't measure her but I started carrying a tape measure this yr, have to start doing that...

She went 4lbs 4 oz on the dot, but she was a very stout and beefy fish

Decided to brave the rain tonight and got bit one time. Tried everything that I could to dry off my camera but it was pretty much pointless. These were the best pics I could get before the fattie's release.

Seriously fat fish there.

Oh, and I keep my camera in a plastic box and under cover all the time, it only gets wet while acually taking the picture. Which isn't often enough.
