Okay, I may be able to go to Seattle in a few weeks, and was hoping to catch some smallies at sammamsih, but I have no access to boats and not sure if they actually allow to rent boats there. So does anyone know where to fish from shore and what lures?
Any help is much appreciated

RE:lake sammamish?
NorthWest end of the lake has a little park with some shore to fish. Do not remember the name, sorry.

Marymore Park is at the north end. There is also a dock.

But not really used as a fishing dock. You may get lucky but it's too far back from the main lake and too many pads.

I haven't been over in that corner in years. There were some pads close to that dock, but it didn't seem like very many, must have been springtime way back then.

Yea, the park I am thinking of is n the West side- a LOT smaller than Merrimore- in between some apartments/ condos.
